Regal, elegant and sophisticated, just a few words that might come to mind when looking at the gorgeous makeup style from Dolce and Gabbana. The best part? They aren't super complicated so you can re-create the look yourself! Plus, we found awesome products from Make Up For Ever to create these next two looks!

This first look is great for any day you want a soft and pretty makeup look, or for a daytime party/event. Pull your hair back in a low ponytail or loose bun and let some pieces fall out of place to compliment this delicate look. A loose side braid would also look nice!

Start with the Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Radiant Primer to create a smooth skin surface, allow for easy foundation application and help your makeup last longer. The Radiant Primer instantly corrects color according to skin tone and will help you achieve a more hydrated and radiant complexion. If you have an eye primer, we recommend applying that as well to help prevent shadow from creasing and to help the color last longer. Next, apply your favorite foundation. A lightweight foundation will allow for your hydrated complexion to shine through, so don't over-do it with the coverage!

Have you picked up a new makeup palette over the holidays or for Valentine's Day? Maybe you received one as a gift? There are so many options for a good makeup palette to choose from, so we have simplified your choices by putting together a few makeup looks for you to try! We created these looks using Too Faced Chocolate Bar and Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar eye shadow palettes, two amazing palettes we all love!!

As with any makeup look, you will want to always begin with a freshly cleansed & moisturized face. Before applying foundation, we recommend using a  makeup primer, as it helps to enhance your look and helps makeup stay in place longer. Looking for a new primer? We recommend Pür Minerals Correcting Primer - Illuminate and Glow. Not only will this help your foundation/makeup apply better, this primer will also give your skin an instant illuminating glow, helping to alleviate the appearance of  tired and dull skin. It also helps with the appearance of lines, wrinkles, and imperfections. After cleansing and moisturizing, apply to your skin, allow to absorb before applying your favorite foundation or mineral powders. We also highly recommend using a eye shadow primer as most primers will prevent your eye shadow from creasing & fading.

One of the awesome benefits of buying a Too Faced eye makeup palette, is that they come with handy little "How-To Glamour Guides." To get this beautifully soft yet smoldering eye look, follow these steps for the "Semi-Sweet" look as outlined in the Too Faced Chocolate Bar How-To Glamour Guide:

1. Sweep Salted Caramel From Crease to Brow.

winter ball makeup - simple elegance

Makeup Quick Tips: Brush on the Jane Iredale PurePressed Sheer Honey blush on the apples of your cheeks and blend with a powder brush to lighten and soften the look. Use the Champagne color PurePressed Eye Shadow as an all over shadow color. Then use the Bronze Gold Dust in your eye crease, from the middle to the outer corner and lightly blend but do not over blend and lose the nice darkened crease accent! You can add water to the Gold Dust and line below your bottom lash line. Then line your upper lash line with the black Liquid Liner and finish off with the Thickening & Lengthening Mascara. Lightly apply the PureMoist Melody Lipstick and add the Tangerine PureGloss lip gloss over it and reapply as necessary. Make sure to keep the blotting papers in your purse for touch ups throughout the night!

Makeup Quick Tips: Primers are a must when going to a late night, major event! You want your makeup look to stay looking just as perfect at the end of the night as it did when you first applied it! To do this, primers will play a huge part in keeping up appearances :) Apply the foundation primer all over your face and wait a few minutes, then apply the PALLADIO Herbal dual wet & dry foundation wet by adding a bit of water to the sponge, then blend all over your face until even. Dab and pat the Herbal liquid concealer (Yellow for camouflaging bluish pigments such as dark circles and bruises; or Green to disguise red blotches caused by acne and Rosacea) where needed. Lightly pat your foundation sponge over the concealed areas to hide any left over concealer pigment. Next take a large powder pad and absorb it with the rice powder, fold in half and rub the pad together then roll over your cheekbone areas or areas you have large pores. Pat the other areas of your face lightly to not take away all of the natural skin sheen and glow. Use a foundation brush to blend if needed. Lightly brush the Atlantic Tan bronzer to contour cheeks. Next, apply eyeshadow primer and then the cream shadow as an all over base. Follow it up with the blue eyeshadow from the Mystic palette, wet the eyeshadow brush for a deeper, more pigmented color if preferred. Add the silver shadow to your inner corners of your eyes and below your eyebrows. Line water lines (upper and lower) with the Precision black eyeliner and then apply the blue shadow under your lower lash line. Finish off with the waterproof mascara and a coat of the Crystal Ice Plump N' Shine and you're ready for the night!

Whether it's a first date or a date night with the hubby it's nice to add a little mystery and spiciness to your look for that element of excitement! This is easily achieved with color selection for both fashion and makeup. Deep purples and dark reds are a trend this season that we LOVE! A sweater dress with leggings is a perfect dressy yet casual choice that you can either glam up or tone down with you accessories, jacket, shoes and makeup choices. It is a must-have clothing staple! To not overwhelm the outfit and distract attention away from you, make sure you wear solid colors if you plan to accessorize.

Jessica (pictured above) likes to add a pop of color to this outfit with her necklace accessory that adds a bit of turquoise, which complements the deep plum/wine colors.

If eyes are the windows to the soul, don't cover up that soul in too much makeup! Go with a non-threatening neutral eye and add bold lips. The dark and mysterious bold lip will really add a romantic deviance that will drive them crazy. Lipstick on a first date is a good rule to have because if you don't like the person there is no threat of a goodnight kiss for fear of getting it all over them. If you do like them, no problem, not kissing on the first date will only have them coming back for more...just make sure to wear lip balm for the 2nd date :)

Here is what we recommend for date night makeup:
