When looking for products it can sometimes be overwhelming with the amount of options. The Certified Fabulous team wanted to share three brands that we found to be exceptional with ingredients and that are formulated to be good for you too.

  • Hillhouse Naturals

Hillhouse Naturals is a beautifully put together brand that practices and continues to practice being eco-conscious. Many of their ingredients are harvested locally, their soybean blend of wax candles are packaged in reusable recyclable containers, and catalogs printed on recycled paper. In their words, "it has always been a mission of Hillhouse Naturals to create products that use nature's bounty in a way that preserves the health and beauty of the environment"

"We believe in the transformative power of natural scents – they can change the feeling, the mood and tone of a room, and those who live in that space. We thank everyone who has purchased our products and for bringing Hillhouse Naturals into their homes." – Peggy & Tracy

The Cashmere collection offers beautiful lavish warm scents of roses, magnolia, and sampaquita, brightened and balanced with the hints of citrus and clove. The Cashmere Body Crème is enriched with Jojoba Oil, Sun flower Oil and Vitamin E. This combination leaves skin feeling silky smooth and smelling amazing. A very sophisticated and chic fragrance!

The Certified Fabulous team also had the pleasure of trying the Fresh Linen Body Wash. This is a crisp, delicately scented, gentle cleansing body wash. This will leave your skin feeling and looking fabulous.

  • Difference between “Natural” and “Organic” Products

“Natural” products don’t have any regulation, so any company can name their products “natural” if they have a few ingredients that come from the earth. Natural products range from some pretty good companies trying to do the right thing to hundreds of personal care companies that are simply using the term “natural” for marketing purposes.
However, “Organic” goes way beyond “Natural”.
If a product is labeled Organic on the front of the package and sold in the State of California, which has extremely rigorous organic regulations, then the products must contain USDA certified organic ingredients from a farm that uses a system of farming that maintains and replenishes soil fertility without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides or fertilizers.

Did you know that: Your Skin Absorbs over 64% of what is placed on it.

Think about it … physicians prescribe prescription “patches” that are readily absorbed through the skin … hmmm … but what about your moisturizer? Do you know that most conventional beauty products contain pesticides, methyl, butyl and propyl parabens, propylene or butylene glycols, petroleum, sulfates, PEGs, TEA, DEA, phthalates, GMO, silicones, artificial dyes or fragrances, formaldehyde, and more. Do you really want all these on your skin?

    Juice Beauty

I have been a fan of the Juice Beauty brand since I first tried the Blemish Clearing Serum. If you haven't tried that, you must!! When I heard they had a makeup line I was anxious to try it! If the facts of using organic products haven't convinced you then trying this makeup collection out for yourself will! You can feel the difference literally on your skin and feel better about putting this makeup on knowing it will improve skin's overall appearance.
