Jane Iredale: Chocoholicks ™

Ok I’ll admit it; I am a chocoholic.

These lip glosses taste fantastic, they taste great!!! They have a fresh invigorating sweet taste.

The chocolate bronze compact has 4 different shades of chocolate: Blood Orange, Espresso, Very Berry and Chili Pepper.

The slim compact will travel anywhere and it has a retractable brush with a fine tip making it easily spreadable.

We are in the middle of reviewing Montagne Jeunesse this week and as the trend & celebrity style reporter I was thrilled to try out the latest and greatest in their face masks. I have tried SO many masks but I am very fascinated in the self-heating concept, especially since it is winter and I am chilled to the bone! I selfishly grabbed the self-heating masks that was sent to us immediately and was thrilled to get a Warm Exfoliating Crystal mask and the Hot Chocolate self-heating mask!

You might be saying to yourself, "what's the difference?". The difference is the added benefit of using self-heating skin care products, which is that heat opens your pores and when your pores are open they can be thoroughly cleaned out for a deep down clean. Cold water, cold air and cold skin closes up the pores. The best visual I always think of is in the 1981 movie "Mommie Dearest" the actress portraying Joan Crawford had a scene where it showed the process of her skin care routine. She woke up and washed her face with scorching hot water and then immediately turned to a bowl of ice water and started to splash that on her face. Although that is the extreme...and scary to think about, it is always the visual I get when caring for my face, hah.

One particular night, after being invaded by a snow storm, I needed a mood lifting solution so I looked around and noticed I had the two Montagne Montagne Jeunesse crystal-masqueJeunesse masks on my bathroom sink. I began my at-home spa experience by testing our the self-heating chocolate mask. As I opened the packet the scent of chocolate hit my senses and put a smile on my face. Applying the mask was so easy and the product flowed on my face flawlessly. As I rubbed in the product on my face it was seriously warming my skin and I felt like I was literally playing with hot fudge on my face! It was truly an amazing feeling and fun! I then went to relax for about 15 minutes, it doesn't dry (which I love!!!) so you will kind of feel like it is time to wash it off when it starts to slowly run off your face like melting chocolate, hah. After I rinsed it off and patted my skin dry I felt rejuvenated and I was in a much better mood. There is nothing as simple and inexpensive as this mask for glowing skin and an uplifted mood! This makes a great gift for anyone...and you know Valentine's Day is just around the corner ;) *hint* *hint*

It being winter and all, it was no problem finding time to test out the warm crystal exfoliating mask! My dry winter skin was screaming for help so I had to take time to treat it and slop off some dead skin cell layers. After placing the packet in warm water for a minute you simple rub on your face and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes. Rise it off and reveal your polished, bright new complexion!

The basic advice I can give you all on skin health and youth is the remember to take care of it! Don't abuse or ignore it you have to keep it clean and happy! A proper skin care routine based on your skin type and needs is critical to longevity.
