Not sure how to wear your hair for Holiday parties this season? Celebrity Stylist and Rowenta Beauty Brand Ambassador, Josue Perez shares his 5 Tips & Tricks for Holiday Party Hair Styles, Looks & Trends this Season!
1. If someone just has a few minutes to go from the office to a party, how can she make her hair look a bit more festive?
“Creating a teased root pony tail is easy to quickly style at the office before heading out to a party. It’s also a fun look that goes with any holiday party- whether it be a casual, or more chic event. This can be achieved simply by teasing the top section of hair and only brushing the sides tighter into a ponytail.”
2. Are there any quick up-dos that work well for parties?
“Face framing chignon buns are appropriate for any holiday party. To achieve this look, all you do is curl the ends of your hair – I recommend using the Rowenta Versa Style Iron for creating soft waves. It emits pure negative ions as you curl – protecting your hair against damage. Next, create a heavy side part, and pull the hair into a low side bun.”
3. Are you seeing any trends as far as temporary color or glitter?
“Temporary Color is great – and I’m seeing it across women of all ages – it brings out the fun in all of us. You never know, those fun colors on your hair might help you win that ugly Christmas sweater contest. The UO Hair Chalk rainbow set is popular now and easy to use.”
4. Are there any hair accessories that you think will be popular going into the holiday season?
“Cute hair bows and diamond hair pins are really chic and always remind us of gifts. They go with most styles, it's all about the placement of them.”
5. Can you recommend a quick way to refresh hair at the end of the day? Dry shampoo or some other product?
“I recommend Satin Sugar Hair and Body Powder by Cake Beauty. Having the ability to distribute powder in your hair with your hands gives you a refreshing feel and smell.”
