A Czech Republic Family Tradition for Beautiful Skin
Certified FABULOUS was given the oppurtunity to try natura culina products recently and we're here to tell you just how fabulous they are! When Jessica first got ahold of the body butter, she and I both couldn't resist cracking it open right away to try some! You can read Jessica's full review below, but I did want to tell you guys that everyone in the Certified FABULOUS office kept sticking their head in to see what smelled so good!
I took home natura culina's Layed Lavendar Chocolate Sugar Scrub. I'm sure you've heard of the new bacon & chocolate craze, but chocolate and lavendar? That's new. And awesome! I love chocolate, and lavendar is one of my favorite fragrances, but I never thought about combining them! For my first scoop of the scrub, I catiously grabbed only the chocolate sugar on top. The chocolate scent was sweet and earthy. For my second scoop, I got a nice mixture of both the chocolate and lavendar. Spreading it over my legs, I was pleasently surprised that the lavendar didn't over-power the chocolate, but instead added its trademark relaxing aroma, mixing well.
The scrub felt great, held up in the running water, exfoliated well, and left my skin soft and touchable afterwards. Even after just one use, I could see and feel the coconut oil nourishing my skin.
We also received the Moisturizing Shea Belly Butter. I tried it and it was really smooth and thick, just what you want a butter to feel like! (Don't worry mom, I'm not pregnant! I was just too curious to pass it up!!).
If you're like me, you like to know whats in the products you put on (and in!) your body. I love natura culina's pantry section of their website. They go into detail about each key ingredient so you can spread that body butter and sugar scrub with no fear!
natura culina is a great company that not only makes earth-friendly (but luxurious!) products, they also help out their community! $15 of every product sold goes to the American Cancer Society and $5 of every soap sold goes to C.A.R.E. for paws (you can even buy puppy and kitten soaps! Soooo cute! The perfect gift for the animal lover in your life).
I was excited to try the natura culina: Shea Butter in lavender scent because I am obsessed with body butters! I opened it immediately and slathered it on my legs. It instantly melted into my skin and hydrated my legs to a smooth, buttery texture with a gorgeous sheen that left them looking healthy and sexy :)
The site explains the product best: Richly textured certified organic African Shea butter enriched with organic coconut oil, anti-aging rosehip seed oil and vitamin E. This butter leaves your skin silky smooth, hydrated and nourished. Excellent after shower or bath as daily body moisturizing treatment. Very effective for dry skin areas (elbows, feet, hands).
It sincerely feels nothing less than luxurious and can compete with any of my spa quality products I use! I was very impressed by how earthy and simple the packaging is, which reflects their intent and message perfectly and totally surprises people when they try the product and get that WOW factor.
Next, I grabbed the Orange Blossom Goat Milk Soap to try. Let me just tell you about a few, of the many, benefits of using goat milk in soap:
- Can reduce skin inflammation, and soothes dry and damaged skin
- Can reduce wrinkles and delay signs of skin aging
- Has alpha-hydroxy acids that soften the skin by breaking down the glue that holds dead skin cells together
- The famous Cleopatra known for her beauty and amazing skin, biggest skin care secret revealed was bathing in goat’s milk
- It has the closest PH level to our skin. This helps protect our skin from invading bacteria and chemicals
- Loaded with essential nutrients and vitamins like vitamin C, B1, B6, B12, and E
- They are free from harmful chemical and a very mild soap bar safe to use for all skin conditions
I have never used a soap with goat milk in it but let me tell you, it for sure nourished my skin and left it perfectly hydrated! I was actually surprised because I have never actually used goat milk...and to be honest the thought of drinking it makes me feel ill...BUT using it in my skin care routine could be my new obsession :)
This particular soap from natura culina has a gorgeous flower design molded into the bar and is an Orange Blossom scent which is HEAVENLY! It is a natural delight and I recommend you all check out the site: naturaculina.com !
That is all from me, until next time...Keep On Being Beautiful You!
